Rosemary Carruthers QSO, Barrister and Solicitor
Rosemary Carruthers has been in general legal practice in South Canterbury for 30 years. She is a member of the NZLS Property Law Section and the NZLS Family Law Section. She is the District Inspector for Mental Health for this area. She enjoys involvement in this community having held governance roles in tertiary education and regional health as well as in philanthropy. |
Current voluntary roles are with heritage trusts, the SC branch of the NZ Institute of International Affairs, Mammography Services, Aoraki Education Trust Board and as Honorary Solicitor for CCS, Schizophrenia Fellowship Aoraki, Arowhenua Whanua Services Trust and other groups. Current other roles are as director of Te Ana Whakairo Limited and as a trustee of’ Ngai Tahu Ancillary Claims Trust. |
